NAPMK Profile

The National Association of Oilseed Processors of Kazakhstan (NAPMK) is a non-profit organization founded in 2021, uniting processing enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan and promoting the sustainable development of the country's oil and fat industry.

The Association is accredited by the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also builds systematic interaction with NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC and the country's financial institutions.

NAPMK represents and protects the interests of domestic producers of oil and fat products, strengthens the dialogue between business and government authorities, carries out industry analytics, and forms market development forecasts.

Developing and creating value year after year

2021 FOUNDING YEAR

Establishment of the "NAPMK" UL. Formation of the first composition of participants. Obtaining accreditation in specialized ministries.

2023

Since 2023, a memorandum has been in effect with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan on stabilizing prices for bottled sunflower oil for the domestic market. Since 2023, annual internships for KazATIU students have been organized at the enterprises of NAPMK UL.

2024

Accreditations were obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan entered the TOP-3 in the supply of sunflower meal to the EU. Railway transportation performance to China was improved: from 36-40% to over 90%.

2025

The Roadmap for the export of oil and fat products for 2026–2028 was approved. Kazakhstan became #6 in sunflower oil supplies in the world. The first batch of sunflower oil in 40-foot containers in flexitanks was shipped with the participation of representatives of NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC and NAPMK UL.

Today

NAPMK UL held the largest 5th anniversary oil and fat conference FOC 2026 in history: 400+ participants from 18+ countries

An enterprise within NAPMK UL transshipped rapeseed oil through the port of Aktau for the first time

Kazakhstan became the second in the ranking of top exporters of sunflower oil to China
